About

Hello! Thank you for visiting and taking the time to learn a little more about me.

My name is Pamella, and my husband and I have three children. We stay busy and do our best to eat well and stay active.

I can still remember the day that I realized fitness was an important part of life. I was 19 and thought that I needed a study break to get my blood pumping again. So I decided to go for a run. By the end of the street I realized that I was NOT in good shape. I was out of breath, my side was hurting, and my legs were jello. I was so confused. I mean I ate fairly well, kept things like soda and fast food out of my diet, and it hadn’t been that long ago I was participating in cheer competitions. What happened to me? I gave up that night and went back to the books, but I was determined to improve. I got online and started looking up some info on running for beginners and haven’t looked back since.

Many years later I still love running. But I have added so much more to life just by taking that first step. After graduating college I earned my Personal Training Certification, and still continue to learn and mature in the fitness industry. I have discovered that I have a passion for helping others find their fitness mojo; and found that being ‘fit’ is not just about the current state of your physical body.

My philosophy of fitness involves all aspects of who you are and who you are striving to be. It does not include what other people think or their concepts of fitness. It does not include a six pack and perfectly proportioned muscles. More importantly, it does not include the latest fad diet or pill.

Personal health and fitness should be defined by your standards. After all, we are each unique. To me, being fit means you can comfortable perform the tasks of your daily life without getting worn out. It means you can do what you love and enjoy yourself without fear of exhaustion or injury. It means that when you look in the mirror you see someone who is strong, confident, and has the persistence to keep going.
